The "Maverick" is a 320 Albemarle Express Fisherman powered by well maintained 3116 Cat Diesels with 350 Horsepower each. It is a Carolina built boat made for the rough waters off of the Cape and will comfortably handle the waters off the mid Atlantic good or bad, and the deep "V" hull gives a comfortable ride in even the worst conditions. We cruise at 26+ knots so we spend more time fishing and less time riding. "Maverick" is fully equipped with all the latest state of the art electronics and safety gear to get us safely to and from the fishing grounds and help to locate the fish. There is a microwave oven and refrigerator for food and the cabin is heated/air conditioned for comfort, as well as a full head facility. We are a fully outfitted fishing machine.
We have the finest tackle available to get the job done from light spinning tackle all the way up to Tiagra 80W trolling outfits and everything in between. If you have your own tackle and would like to use it we are happy to allow that as long as the tackle fits the fishing we are doing. We also supply all the bait/lures and terminal tackle needed for the trip.
We are a hands on charter boat and want you to be part of all the action from the preparation to the landing of the fish. Myself or the mate will provide the knowledge and help you with any questions you have and allow you to be part of the whole adventure as little or as much as you feel capable of.
