 OUR BOAT
 "Liquid Gold" is a 2001 35’ Cabo built to take you safely and comfortably to and from the fishing grounds. This fast and furious fishing machine is equipped with the finest fishing tackle from Shimano and Chaos custom rods and luxury comforts only a boat of her class can offer.
ABOUT THE CAPTAIN
Capt. Justin Nighan started sailing to the Canyons off the New Jersey coast when he was just a few months old aboard his parents 40’ Sportfisherman. He went with his parents on every fishing trip and by the age of 16 he had almost 500 trips to the NE Canyons and started running his father's boat. At 22 years old he received his B.S. in Biology from the U of Miami, after taking part time jobs as a mate/captain and learning what South Florida sportfishing is all about. He joined the Canyon Runner Charter fishing crew as a full time mate and fished the NE canyons during the summer and South Florida in the winter for 3+ years. He ended his career at Canyon Runner as Captain of their 58’ Viking in hopes to fulfill some travel needs. Shortly after, he found himself on a 2 month excursion in Costa Rica as the 2nd Captain on a 68’ Hatteras. There he was schooled in the art of pitch bait tolling for Pacific Sailfish. After that he jumped on a 60’ Bertram and toured the Bahamas and the Northern Caribbean for the entire summer enjoying the plentiful bottom fishing, yellowfin tuna and blue marlin fishery those areas have to offer.
