The Fins & Grins is 40' custom built, powered by a reliable C-9 503 horsepower Caterpillar engine. The boat cruises at 20 knots and tops out at about 24 knots. A hydrodynamic hull was specially designed for an extremely comfortable ride and to be a stable vessel in drifting conditions. Captain Jim McClintock has been actively employed in the fishing business as a mate and a captain for over 35 years. He has fished North Carolina for giant bluefin tuna, the Florida Keys for sailfish and grouper, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for striped marlin and Ireland for sea trout and salmon. Captain Jim enjoys fishing and learned a lot in his travels and would like to share his expert knowledge with you. Fins & Grins:
The new Fins & Grins was completed on June 2006. USCG inspected for 1 to 20 passengers and 2 crewmembers. She is 40' by 14' wide, custom built, and powered by a reliable C-9 503 horsepower Caterpillar engine. The boat cruises at 20 knots and tops out at about 24 knots. A hydrodynamic hull was specially designed for an extremely comfortable ride and to be a stable vessel in drifting conditions.

The 14 x 12 (168 sq ft.) unobstructed cockpit and high rails make for safer conditions in rough weather. Safety and convenience features include a 15 man life raft, large enclosed stand up marine head, and comfortable cushioned berth below.
