Big Easy Charters

The “Big Easy” is a 1998 57’ Briggs Boatworks Sportfisherman. The boat is equipped for its mission, offshore fishing for marlin and tuna and all pelagic species. She is equipped with tackle from 130lb to 20lb. There are 3 fighting chairs. She has GPS, VHF radios, radar, depth sounders, and cellular telephone. Safety equipment includes a 406 EPIRB and an 8 man life raft. She is a twin diesel boat with a diesel generator and is air-conditioned and heated. Interior appointments are designed for your comfort.

Owner/operator Captain Cliff Parker has over 29 years experience fishing the gulf stream off North Carolina. The “Big Easy” and crew will work hard to insure you have a quality fishing experience.

The "Big Easy" has fished numerous tournaments:
1999 - 2nd Place release boat, Ocean City White Marlin Open (359 boats)
2005 - 1st Place release boat, The Big Rock Tournament (189 boats)
2005 - 8th Place release boat, Ocean City White Marlin Open (400 boats)
2005 - 3rd Place Blue Marlin - 531lbs, Ocean City White Marlin Open

The "Big Easy" docks at Teach's Lair Marina, located on Hwy 12, at the South end of Hatteras Village, the closest point to the Gulf Stream north of Florida.
Book now with the "Big Easy". We welcome the sportsman, family and company groups. We have particular interest in fishing tournaments, such as the Big Rock and the Hatteras Village Open. Charters consist of a maximum of six (6) people. Your charter fee includes fishing license, ice, bait, and tackle. You will find a friendly, professional crew to assist you with additional information, reservations and your fishing trip. Please contact us.
