    The 28 Carolina should be considered the textbook example of cleanly laid out express fisherman. Nice open and beamy cockpit, a raised bridgedeck with comfortable helm and companion seat with great visibility and elbow room, her inboard disels below, a basic, open cabin with a v-berth, convertible dinette, enclosed head with shower and galley, enough to weekend on. At sea, a heavy deep-v hull for the best ride, carries plenty of fuel for those runs offshore, all the while, sipping fuel. This particular 28 Carolina has the nice personal touches in plenty of rod holders and rocket launchers, two outrigger and a center rigger all with pullies to make them smooth, to spread those lines.

    The owner of this boat has been very particular with engine maintenance. Although it is not required until 1000 hours, at 700 hours, the Cummins recommended service was completed, including the fresh water cooled heat exchangers acid dipped and cleaned, reinstalled with new gaskets. Engine oil is changed every 100 hors regardless.
