I love the 35 Bertram. For a 35 foot convertible with rakish, yet classic lines, nice cockpit, deep-v hull that still rides better than so many of her modern day peers (are there any 35 convertibles anymore -ooh, sorry I know, Cabo, maybe that Phoenix ala Blackfin), a usable cabin and flybridge, all being pushed by a pair of diesels (Cummins 315's in this case), what else could you want? Ok, so she's not new, but these boats have a lot of potential to be all you could ever want for less. "Search'N" was bought 14 years ago from her original owner, repowered with a pair of re-built Cummins 315's in the winter of 2005 (the old 3208's had seen their day), recieved a few new electronics bits, canvas, carpet and a redesigned, "Carolina style" cabin and put her out to fish. "Search 'N" did her job and raised many a bite in the canyons off Ocean City, Maryland. Now that her owners have invested in a new boat, "Search'N" has entered market again and is looking for a new home. "Search'N" is currently winterized and stored for the season at Bay Bridge Marina. She is also getting fresh cabin carpet and will be ready to show soon. I will have full specifications coming soon...
