Smile Your Highlights Of the Year???

With '07 winding down I look back on the year that was and came away with so many great memories. Too many high points to hit on them all but a really good year. Starting with sails and swords last winter it progressed into the spring. Our Bahamas trip yielding fewwer than normal billfish but several of the biggest dolphin I have dealt with.
Shark season was fair. We dropped a couple money class fish we caught a few keepers between. An extrordianry season though for some oddities like basking and white sharks that were seen by several.
I snuck back into old places I hadn't been at in a good long while. The Hudson barfing up some nice fish months ago and recently a trip to my old stomping grounds in the keys produced well...
I was delighted to see Alexa Turner and the crew of the Foolish Pleasure score a win at the OV Showdown. SFC family were represented well through the tourney season and coverage of the events was second to none thanks to Admin.
This season saw me collect a new tourney ride or two. Along the way meeting so many way cool SFC family members. This site keeps growing in leaps and bounds. This thread isn't about me. Its about you. I shared a little of what this year has brought so far. If every last one of you that reads this thread takes a few seconds to post up even one memory of this you we could set a record... So do not be shy. Just one memory each is all I ask...more if you want...

Recap! RECAP? Highlights!? - there are 42 days left in this year. Still got at least 3 more OI tuna carnage days. At least 5 days at the CBBT plugging away at 40+ inch rockfish and probably a bay trip with the BIEBS. Not to be outdone by a couple trips busting the 50lb club on the rockfish with Capt Jake. As well as a planned late dec sword trip with Capt Jake on the matador. Then we got Costa Rica for 4 days and when I get back we got Giant Bluefins to deal with in MHC plus you can't get all the way down to MHC and not take a day with the grouper version of a Greek tragedy , a day with the Nicks. RECAP - I still got 39 fishing days left. .........................recap - geeezzz!

The fishing year has been a good one for me down at the end of US 1 as well!Great sailfish season last winter , this one has started off with a bang also,a few blue ones this summer, tarpon and bones did their thing too.But I went north to my home town, OC Md to fish the WMO for the first time in quite a few years and got together with a bunch of old friends and had a big time! Way to many years between visits.I don't miss the long runs offshore, but dearly miss some of the people! That trip definately made my 07'.

3rd place tuna in the first tournament I have ever entered. straightening a 9/0 stainless steal hook before the guy standing next to the planer rod could get the drag backed off which was almost instantly the first day of the tournament. Man I would have loved to known what that was.
