I don't know anyone who has ever rigged one as a lure, but as a teaser I do know of a couple people who have had fish that just didn't want to let the thing go. I also know of a captain in Bermuda who pulls one reguraly as a teaser.

It has proved difficult getting the blue ones to switch off once zeroed in on it.

We had that thing nocked 5 feet in the air!
