    Question Yo-Zuri HD Carbon

Anybody try out this new leader? I've noticed it in catalogs and online but never heard of anybody using it. It is less than 1/2 the price(30yds @ $25.00) of the usual flouro I buy and claims to be 100% flourocarbon, more flexible, more abrasion resistant, and more invisible. Even if it is just as good as regular flouro it would be a deal at 1/2 price but I am a little skeptical because of the major price difference. What's the word on this stuff?

We just brought in, I'm interested to see the feedback, also. A handful of people asked for it last season, I'll probably try when I start fishing.

I started using it last year and was very pleased with the results.

For this yr, everything is rigged up with the Pink leader.

For me it performs as well as the Seaguar I normally use... it seems to be more flexible and a little easier for tying knots. I use it for bass and fluke fishing. For tuna fishing though it's hard to go away from the old reliable Seaguar.

I have one of my reels spooled with a topshot of Yozuri hybrid floro this year -- I am interested to see how well it works vs. the mono I normally use.

    Big on West Coast

Last season I and a large % of the boats fishing the Marlin tournaments in So-cal and Mex used it for live bait fishing Striped Marlin, Have only heard positive feedback and I also liked it, knots tied easy on cinched up tight, casted well and apparantly being pink; part of the red family it should disappear in the water well.
    We sell ALLOT of it.

I perfer it over the Seguar, its allot cheaper, and it seems to get the same amount of bites as thee Seguar. We are using the 150lb version.
    Good stuff!

We use it on Pacifico exclusively after having first tried it out 3 years ago in Vallarta. I personally had the best day of fishing I ever had on a hot August day down there with the stuff and have been hooked ever since. We've just become sponsored by Yozuri and Basil at BHP will soon be rigging up a bunch of wind ons for us. They make it in clear now but we've been using the pink and see no reason to change now. Good stuff.

    Thumbs up

I have been using this product for the past two years and love it. It ties easily and I like the pink shade. I personally wouldn't change to the clear. Good luck
