WWB green machine chain; Bird or no bird

Heading to OI for some of that BFT action. I have a 10" green machine chain I want to run wwb down the middle. Can't decide if I should put a bird in front or not?

I'm leaning towards no bird, just because the chain will run a little deeper,

    Any suggestions...

Oregon Inlet, there are a couple yellowfin caught, but they are smoking the BFT right now.

I wouldn't run a chain for them. I would prob run a horse hoo with an Ilander 10 ft. behind of the bird farthest back in the spread.

GM chains behind a bird is my go to for YFT.

What kinda of spreader bars are you running?, What postion are they? From what you are telling , I would take the GM chain out of the spread, if you were southside of Chatham MA . Then the GM would be ok. But north of Chatham forget it. An down south islanders and hoo's or witches and hoo's. I joke about it it because when we go to NC to fish I call it bitches and ho's. Add another spreader bar? Make a bait ball with the bars and postion your Hoo's accordingly. Just what I know!
