yes they are,
specially when you fish 30 lbs lines for mahi, sailfish, aso.
this morning we got an other white, 4th in a week now, looks like they will start nice early this year, the whites are our big goal in the area.

Congrats Mike.....I love white marlin fishing. I just have one bad habit of pulling the hook on them! Blues, Blacks and sails are so much easier!

white's are my own favs, too.
yes, they are very sensible in their mouth, they make great standup0 fighting action which i prefer over a fighting chair and then of course the fact that they are mostly not alone when on the look for food, you just need to be patient after the first hook up to get the others to approach the spray, too.
