    World record swordfish approved!

    Well, must have been the 1,500 photos and 2 hours of video we submitted but the sword caught Saturday by Ashley Spalding was approved this morning. Definitely a highlight in my fishing career.

    Pending IGFA world record swordfish out of Palm Beach

    Dude, I'm so psyched I can't even put it in words. Great kid, Dad home from Iraq, textbook hookup and fight.... can't think of how it could be better.

    Far out! Great going on the catch... Its interesting to see that IGFA has changed like that... All the record applications we have done through the years took weeks or months before we ever got official approval....
