World Billfish Series???

Wondering what billfisherman think of the World Billfish Series - opinions, feedback, experience - what do you think of sportfishing series like this one?

If you are speaking of the WBS that has it championship in los suenos early next month then i must say I love it. To me the WBS tournament championship is my favorite tournament to fish. I love the format and the well thoughtout rules of the tournament. I have participated as an angler and was invited to be the tourament photographer last year. Both experiences were phenominal. I would like to see the WBS move its championship to other locations though. Los Suenos is great but as a traveling fisherman I sure would like to visit some new places. Tropic Star maybe or DR or even some place stateside during the hotbite. THe billfish bite can be phenominal in OC or NC in the summer months. I think it may can a little more viewership if it wound up stateside one year. Obviously because of the hot season being in the summer a championship may be difficult unless you went by a tournament year instead of a calander year.

Nevertheless it is an outstanding format and I wish I could make it this year. I qualified in the Pacific division but a family comittment is not gonna let me fish it. Theres always next year
