Like I said, I had a very similiar one and DO NOT RECOMMEND an electric one. But if you do use it, make sure the baitfish is frozen. The problem is the skin and other parts get caught up in the blades and you will spend an extensive amount of time taking the unit apart, unjamming the frozen baitfish and cleaning the blade heads. Please note, I was grinding bunker and bluefish (minus the heads).
If you do use a chipper, I reccommend a gas powered one.
totally agree with the last post. i used an electric one for bluefish and it was a disaster. the skin from every fish got wrapped around the blades and it would stop working. the one pictured above is very similar to what i tried. DONT buy it.
Gas ones are expensive. I have to pay 35% in importation tax as well. I think I will prob go with the food processor

i believe a member of this forum used a gas powered one to chop up some tuna for a mako tourny....i believe it was on tv lol may have been that east vs west tourny......think some sowards may have been involved...
