WMO JAMMAN OUT OF LEWES DELAWARE

WHAT A WEEK! signed up for the tournament on saturday for the boat "jamman" out of lewes. we found a slip in ocean pines. our sponsor was trevor gouert.
fished monday and the weather said 3-5...........meters. 10-12 with rogues of 15-17 WHAT A RIDE. in a 40 boat i felt i little tickled! caught nothing. had two marlin hits (didnt see them) and had something with teeth rip threw our stipteaser dredge.
fished tuesday and boy it was a beautiful day 2-3 at its biggest. nothing! not a bite all day (from what i remember it was a long week! lol)
took wednesday off.
left ocean pines on thursday morning to fish our last day and not 20 minutes in to it we hit a sandbar and bent our port shaft and busted the cutless bearing! took it back to the slip and jumped in and felt nothing wrong with the props, took us 5 hours to go from OC to Lewes limping on one engine. got the shaft bent back and put a new cutlass in and headed back to OC at 645ish PM.
fished friday as our last day and it was beautiful 5-6 swells spaced out. at 11 all of a sudden a 500-700 pound blue marlin comes trucking threw the spread and suicides on a spanish mack on my short rigger! grabbed the rod and handed it off and cleared all the lines and the hook pulled! at 1230 i go inside to grab something to drink and come back out and my blue marlin horse gets pulled off the rigger and i look back and 2 white boys are messin with my baits! the other one grabbed my pink and white ilander and pulled it off the rigger but i beat the other one to my long rigger and i dropped it back down his mouth and waited 8 seconds and set the hook! THE FIGHT WAS ON! i handed the rod off and started fighting this whitey after about a half hour of short cranks and a bunch of jumps this white comes to the side and i grab the leader and grab his bill and bring our first white marlin for the boat in! measured out at 56 inches WHAT A BABY! LOL, got it all on video! it was my first white (hooked and leadered).
