WMO 70 lbs min. Good or Bad?

I guess we'll see how Thursday and Friday play out but what do you think? What’s going to happen if no other whites qualify? What about a pay out if no blues get weighed. I personally think there will be at least 2 more white that qualify but I know there's a couple tournament directors sweating the next two weigh ins.

Do you think they should have left it the way it was?

I think the min. are good, look at the last few years there were plenty of quialifying fish at these min. With the number of both whites and blues being caught I think they will have a blue and several more whites make the min.

If you want to stop the killing make it a release tournament. There are plenty of fish being killed I'm sorry I mean released. Ha!

The WMO will never be a release tourny, if they did you would see a tourny with maybe 50 boats and that's a stretch, you take out all the money donators by goin release only. Out of the 237 in the tourny , count the boats that signed up in the release calcutta. There's lies your answer !!

I agree. Caught a nice sailfish with my son this year and he asked if we could keep it. Explained that billfish were usually released. Seeing all these undersized whites makes me wish I had rethought my answer to him and brought him in for pictures and the grill.
