    Nice job on the paint.
What agent did you use first?
What paint did you lay over them?
Did you put a clear coat over the paint? if so, what did you use?

I have been running my homemade bumper teasers (TOADS) with 32oz cannon ball sinkers attached with 400lb. test mono crimped on. They run great.

I got bored last year and made these super birds and before that even my beach buggy rig.

    Again, Nice Job! Marty

Those are some mighty fine looking Toads! Nice, nice work!

While those painted beauties sometimes look like true works of art, if you would like to see what a Toad will look like and then raise and turn on a bunch of fish with them, get yourself a gnarly, ugly, nasty looking one out of a dumpster or dock box (people rarely throw them away when they replace them for some reason), rig it up following the simple instructions, hook it up to any big, 80# rig. Bent butts are best (and just the butts and no rods are the best of the best) because Mr Toad will "fight" just like a bulldogging tuna if you run it off a regular rod and hold it up the regular way. You should "fight it" on a rod just once to feel what I'm talking about here - and the vibrations that puppy is kicking out are running far and wide under and out from the Toad and making "come here" music to way-out or way-down-there gamefish of all kinds.

Now, after you have taken a look at and felt Toad Boogey, don't bother doctoring up or painting it...just deploy it and check your drags because if there are gamefish around - and you damned well shouldn't be fishing there if there are no fish, they are gonna come a'runnin' to the frantic call of that ugly mother!

Lock and load....Thumpa, thumpa, thumpa-thump! Yeeeoww! Here they come!
