The winds of change?

The mercury is heading for the basement for a few days... Its been unusually warm this winter and the sailfishing sluggish. A good body of fish sixty or so miles north... Lets hope that this cold air push sends them down this way... Nothing like an early January near freezing cold snap to warm the cockles of my heart...

cockle this !!! supposed to blow 50-70 with snow between midnight and Sunday night ,if i get lucky will be running one down leaving Tuesday ish .......................I'll be snappin

I dunno... Its gonna get real cold down here. A few years back we had back to back like this and even had "lake effect" flurries in the tower but drizzle by the time it reached the pit. Seems when the water "smokes" here big things happen. I'm in the yard right now with the 43 but if it gets too cold for paint to cure I may just have to bust out the 31 and see if I can't rack up some numbers which at this point of the season hasn't happened for me.

Deep I hope those fish stay to the north. The Buc is going to be hard this year with 1.5 to 1. Thats when every bite counts.

I guess the classic is today... If they do run down I'm guessing they'll turn right back around the second the cold breaks and the wind comes south...
