Wilmington Canyon

Hey guys, do any of you have any report or info on trolling the Wilmington this Saturday. I think we will hit the Wilmington then troll up the 100 line north. Does anyone advise against the wilmington this saturday? This is where my cap. wants to go. I would love to hit the action in the toms or Hudson, but i think its too far a run from ocean city nj. Any replies are greatly appreciated.

I haven't heard much in a while coming from there. Water hasn't moved in there yet. Lindenkohl north would be my suggestion.

thanks jay!! what exactly have you heard from the north lindy?? that is a canyon we fish pretty often, so running there he wouldnt have a problem with.

Well for one thats where that nice 75-78 degree break starts. Guy was there last week had YFT and got covered in Eyeballs.

Our plan is to hit that Sat. then run north to the Carteret where that break is just outside the 100 line.

ill be breaking the inlet at 445 on saturday in our 38 rampage. its supposed to be calm so we run about 31kt, when are you heading? PS, how far is where you are talking from great egg inlet, OCNJ>>??? thanks man!

run the extra distance to get to the north Toms.
not a real big deal on a nice day. it's a much better shot at catching. We had a real good day there last saturday and the water has moved just north by 5 miles or so.

I think the Lindy is 68 from LEI.

GEI maybe 75 ? Can't be too much farther.

We'll be on a 30' Albemarle "Hook Me Up"

Supposed to be a 10 sec.+ period ground swell so running should be ok.

Toms is like 80 from LEI, so you are definitely 90+ miles from GEI.
