    Willliamson Little Tunny???

I found some at Sports Authority in Brandon, FL for like $15. Seemed like a great deal. I picked up 2. They are the 14" ones I think. Anybody use theese before? They look descent.

Ive got two rigged as pitch baits (dead skips can be hard to find sometimes). Ive yet to use them but Ill let you know how it goes. I hear they are wahoo magnets if trolled and dont hold up to the razor gang.

    NOT ME!!!
I've used them and have caught marlin on them. However, there are a couple of issues that would keep me from using them a lot.

First, they're costly (you got them for half price). They are basically only good for one marlin as they get torn up. Also, there is an issue with the weight, as when a marlin jumps there's a large heavy fulcrum in the water that tends to cause the hook to pull.

But, boy howdy, do they ever look real! I'm thinking they'd be best used as a teaser (no hook), right off the transom.

If they arent going to stand up to more than one hit Id rather put a hook in them.

Bring a needle and floss because after one fish they get torn up pretty good. I have had success with it on one trip were we landed 1 rat blue and a nice white. I then went and bought a few more and haven't had any luck with them since.

I have caught 2 Black Marlin with them when I couldn't get live baits. I had way better luck pulling the hook out and rigging it with a big circle hook.

That's the biggest problem with them. They are not sold unrigged and most folks wouldn't trust a factory rigged lure, I sure don't.
I would think a 3 fish daisy chain would make a killer blue marlin teaser.

Id say Williamson has the highest quality factory rigging Ive seen, the hooks are large, strong and sharp and the swaging was done well. Even so I replaced one of mine with a big jobu hook in the tail, and the other one I crimped a small (3") jet about 2' in front of it, looks like the skippy is chasing bait.
