I live in Southwest Fla (near Port Charlotte) and have a friend who is a Marine Sheriff down in Naples. He has access to about 6 different Boats. He was approached by an older gentleman one day who asked my friend if he would be interested in taking him and some friends out in THEIR boat (a 33 footer). My friend agreed and the elderly man met with him on Thursday and brought 5 of his friends.
They all boarded the boat and my friend took them out for a day of great fishing. To my friend's surprise, when they got back to the dock at the end of the day, the elder man handed my friend $300.00 for taking them out..That's $50.00 from each of the men...He took them in their own boat, AND FISHED with them!!!
The best part,(if the above wasn't good enough) was that this went on every Thursday for about 3 or 4 months...
When the older gentleman went back up north, he asked my friend if he would care for the boat and handed him a credit card to keep it in good shape for him..He told my friend to take it out once a week and make sure everything was working properly...
Some guys have ALL the Luck!!!
