Who's your fishing hero

Who, in your mind, is your fishing hero? Could be a captain, mate,fishing buddy or even who got you started fishing! Who is it?
Mine is my uncle Jim who first took me fishing when I was three. Remember it like it was yesterday 52 years later. Fishing has been in my blood ever since.
Funny thing about it, I got to go to Fla. last year and return the favor for the first time since I was three. He really enjoyed the trip I gave him and he even out fished me. I told him we couldn't wait another 50 years to do it again!

An old guy named Robert Schwartz was my hero. He was my grandfathers friend he would bring fish home and let me hang out and listen to him and his fishing buddies.He gave me an old Pfluger 6/o reel with a rod that was thick as a broom stick.I was only about 4 years old but it definately left an impression.The old guy moved to Buxton with his wife Iris where he finished his life out in paradise for an old salt.

My uncle José Luís. He took me freshwater fishing when I was a kid and also crabbing (from shore, no boat). I also collected bait on the beach with him and my family several times in afternoons/evenings. He also gave me a tackle box full of hooks, sinkers and stuff.
