We're heading out Monday morning for the day. Probably targeting the Baltimore as that water slides through. If anyone has feedback from their trip today we would appreciate it.

Josh,
We ended up in the Bight of the Wilmington, and drifted off into the deep. We were running toward the Balt. and I talked to one of my other friends in the Wilm who had just caught two, so I cut across to the Wilm from 7 miles out from the Balt. and set up in front of the Fleet in deeper water. We had tons of squid and mackeral, but most of it was staying just out of reach of the net and would not touch a jig. One sword bait got slashed pretty good, another one got eaten by a ******* bluedog 20 feet into its decent....Other than that, the Canyon seemed bleek when it came to yft. I think my friend Steve who was fishing with me called you guys on the radio. The wilmington looked like a city driving up to it around 830, and I heard of a few boats catching a few. Other than that, it was a silent night for most of us on the edge, and it sounded like nothing really turned on down in the baltimore either. Got up on the troll early Sunday morning, and as I was moving a rod over from a cross a 300+ blue crushed the blue/white heavy head islander and aired out. Good hookup we fought him for about 15 minutes, he was close to the boat once, and then made two strong runs, and on the third spooled the 50 wide and with about 30 feet left on the drum I reached over the angler in a last effort to stop it with my hand and snapped it off with about a yard left on the reel. STRONG FISH. Got back on the troll for another hour without a touch. Picked up and ran in early to get some stuff done. I am Going out Monday afternoon but leaving from Lewes this trip. I will be on PORT A BELLA so I will call you when we get to the grounds. Keep in touch, catch em up.

I heard a ton of chatter on saturday about poormans being productive. Any one else hear that? Also how deep do you fish for the swordies?
sorry to steer you wrong kevin
we had 1 yft on the chunk , released a pup sword, released a short mako and released a big tiger shark.
that was all for on the east side of the wilm.
the bite went off in the baltimore @ 3am, most boats caught 5 or more. i also heard the poor mans produced well
