White and tuna report for 9/13/09

Sorry for the late report. Just got home. We started at the Tea Cup area on Sunday because of the temp break at tha 30 fathom line. We manage our one under BFT [44"]. We stayed way to long in that area as you will soon understand. 11am we head further offshore looking for the 75 degree water. We found it at the 40 line and no sooner does the temp guage go up the first white jumps on short rigger. For the next 2 hours we raised 7 white ones, release 3 and jumped 2 off. Our friend Steve caught his first white and took the plunge. Katelyn was the camera lady. It was a little sporty but a great time.

Thanks for the report, we were debating wether or not to run from the teacup yesterday and I guess we made the wrong call sticking it out.

Mike, not waiting 2 more days. Going tomorrow. Looks like the water we fished in Sunday more over 30 miles. Just have to find them again.

I was looking at that and agree with you. We'll just have to keep an eye on it. I think Keith is out today so you should be able to get a report from him.
