I started to write this last night and I was so exhausted I couldn't finish.
Day 2 of White Marlin Open
The day started off a little later than normal with a flat tire of a crew mate Joe.
I have to Thank the police for delivering one of our crew members to harbor island because he knew the importance of this tournament.
Top notice they even put a tag on his truck so wouldn't get towed.
We also had a special guest onboard Keith from Alltackle!
Headed south to the Norfolk to see what we could come up with. When I tell you I wanted to commit suicide its no lie! One thing other than we need a bite or a fish that I was saying was if I had sleeping pills I would take them.
It was a LONG LONG day of notta!! Especially when we could hear boats with in the range of 6-8 miles HOOKED UP and RELEASED another white boat #42 was on fire along with a few others. VERY DEPRESSING!
Got with in 3 miles of the fence and turned around and headed back north for the fear of hooking up and crossing the line. We trolled up over down around every hole lump trunk ledge not even a knock down.
Still heading north we stumble across a nice slick and a real nice patch of water 84 continued on with the smell of skunk looking at us..
Seen a decent weedline headed over there NOTTA!
Found a pallet floating in the water trolled around that NOTTA!
A pod of dolphin came ripping by the spread without a sniff. Now its 2:57 lines out at 3:30 I'm furious!
Then THERE SHE IS ERUPTED from the back of the boat, We were on another Blue Marlin for day 2. She was a pretty girl indeed she came to the boat within 10 minutes and hung around the back side of the boat naturaly wanting to run the line thru the motors. Clean and healthly release! !
Our angler Jimmy Bunning is still in top 10 for angler. The rest of us our on stand by for the overflow!
VERY NICE WORK GUYS!
