I have fished this tourney since 1999, WON $ 830,034 with the second largest wm ( first place was not entered in all calcuttas ) and will be fishing in it in the am. The problem is that RESPONSIBLE captains & their parties need to understand that some of us would like to fish this and other tourneys for many years to come. Use good common sense, fish hard, but be aware that a close call on a half pound or 1 1/2" gives us all a bad name.

ps. I played golf today at Rum Pointe.

I'm glad you will be partaking in the fishing of this tournament tomorrow. That in its self means you condone the killing of fish for money. So your previous comment is mute. If you do not approve of the killing of a "legal" length fish in the attempt to win the tournament, weather it meets the minimum weight or not, then stop fishing kill tourneys. Many other fish are killed that will not be in contention for the money so 1 or 2 under weight fish will do nothing to give the tourney a bad name. Some people just like to complain! Good luck to all who are fishing and GREAT job to Admin for the coverage.
