    White Marlin Hooks

We are gearing up for the White Marlin Open and are trying to determine which Dink Ballyhoo hooks to stock in the OC store. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I know Wahoonbox likes his Matzuo's but I've never used them. Might bring'em in next year.

For J's I like the Matzuo 7/0 also. Very strong for their size. Throw them away after they have been in the water. However, if there are blue's mixed in with the whites, I still like the Mustad 9175 7/0. Although, a little bulkier in size, it's stronger. Leave the one with the lead molded on alone!

Circles Been using VMC's with great results. Throw them away as well after they have been in the water.

Another vote for the 2004ELFs but beware, the last box I opened, about one-fifth of the hooks had a blunt square tip instead of a point.

Id stock some Matzuos..they seem to be the heat. Ive heard people talk alot of crap about them breaking, but ive yet to see it happen. They do rust up but thats why their cheap..toss em out after they have been takin out of the pack and used.

The owner aki hooks are good aswell.
