Ck with Capt John on here. He's moving down there to run a charter (or fleet?). He posted on it within the last week, so a search of Turks and Caicos should bring it up.

I have been living on Provo for almost three years now. What kind of fish you wanna catch?
not sure what there is to catch there but i heard its a great fishing destination. i like to fish for tuna and billfish mainly, or wahoo and mahi.

Green,
When are you going? I have ran my boat down there many times and know the area pretty well. Most of the charter boats run out of Turtle Cove Marina in Provo.

You do have a pretty good selection of choices, then. Several out of Turtle Cove, of course, and a couple at the new marina in Leeward. We are most familiar with the individuals in the two Leeward operations ( Silver Deep, and Catch the Wave and some independent guides with boats) but the truth is we have never chartered fishing here ourselves, we are just friends with several of them. And there are probably some SFC members with first hand experience. I do know that the several people to whom we recommended Catch the Wave were pretty happy afterward. I don't know how they do with billfish.
Fished on the Gwendolyn for my honey moon a couple years back. Think it was a 46 Hatteras. Got a nice blue while I could see my hotel. I believe the captain's name is Darren. Cool guy and a interesting story how he got the job. Seems the former captain picked up a white package that was floating by.good luck and shoot me a pm if you want. My new wife and I loved every minute of our trip. Bueatiful place.

Don't know if they are still in operation or not but look them up.
We just got back from taking the boat over to Turtle Cove this morning. We went out jigging but no luck, so decided to see if we could find the path in. It's pretty interesting trail through the reef. We took a lot of photos, will stick them up later on the blogspot if you are interested.
Fish out of Turtle Cove and stay at the Grace Bay Club. You'll love it! I'm jealous...
