Canyon Runner squids are awesome, and they outfish cheaper brands 5:1 from my experience, they are sevenstrand hawaiian squids, but I don't think they sell them anymore, I think Adam has a guy who owns the molds now make them just for him. I know Reel Seat in Brielle NJ also gets them, he might be able to sell them, not sure of their agreement with that. A harder to find squid from Big T can be found at olde salt tackle in NY(I think it's like $25 for 15 squid for 6" and 9" if I remember correctly-you will have to call them to order them, can't order them off there site), they are similar in size quality and catch fish just as well, they are the squids I mostly run and they hold up well. They are very popular in the NE as well. Ocean lure concepts also makes a great squid which is tough and ment to be beat up and last a while. If your going after bluefin, those are the squids you want to be pulling hands down. Stay away from the cheaper brand squids, they tear easily and need replacement more often, spend the money in the beginning and replace them less and have more fun fishing instead of rerigging torn squids.
I attached a picture of some of the squids I have, they are all 9" squids rigged with floats in the middle.
The zuchinni, rainbow, and black/purple are Big t from olde Salt tackle. They are filled with phosphorus so they work well at low light times I've found. They are very thick, you cannot see the floats through them easily.
The pink is the sevenstrand squid, same brand as canyon runner squids, they are very well built but use a material that allows some light through, which I actually like, the float gives off a good luck and I think actually makes the squid more productive as well. They are very tough squid and they catch fish.
The green is a cheap sea striker, that is the last one I have...will never use them again, they break before they even his the water, and look at it compared to the others, sure it has glitter, but it is practically see through and has no great color or look to it.
The blue and white I am not sure of the brand, but they are found on ebay a bit as well, they are cheap as well...they are thinner then sea strikers and break even easier, will never use them either. They also have more imperfectons then sea strikers.
I do not have any ocean lure concepts but have run plenty of them on other boats, from what I've sene they are the most uniform squid out there for a shell squid with little variation between them and they are built tough as well.
Hope this points you in the right direction to choosing the right squid to pull behind your boat. you really cannot go wrong with either of the 3 good brands that I mentioned.

Canyon Runner
I have bought some from All Tackle.
Try putting foam inserts in them. I think they ride better and last longer. I use foam caulk backer from the hardware store. It comes in different sizes and works great.
Good Luck,
