where are Competitive Fishing Communites

Im a competitive person, if there is a prize i want to win it.
my question is what or where are the most competitive fishing communities in terms of number of boats fishing, tournaments, personalities. where are the places that every boat wants to go out fish the other just because of a competitive atmosphere?

My vote would be NC. There are a lot of King Mackerel Tournaments A lot SKA events and alot that are not. US Open in Southport(non SKA) has 500 boats almost every year. Brant McMullen at Ocean Isle Fishing Center usually has several KMT's and has 3 to 4 hundred boats. Then you have the Big Rock, Barta and other billfish tournaments around Morehead and the outer banks.

Miami Beach...or So Fla. between the sail tourneys and all the other fun fish comps its a busy year...not to mention the Bahamas tourneys are just across the river...
