I did'nt see any discussion on this so.................................
Seems some pretty knowledgable researchers have come upon the Atlantic Rounsdscale Spearfish which to the eye is a spitting image to a White marlin!
I'm pretty surprised at the discovery of what was thought to be an extint
member of the spearfish line. let me see if I can post the link for you to read about it.

Round Scale Spearfish
white marlin
Is the so called hatchet a round scale or is the round scale a hatchet ?
Or should i just forget about the hatchet now ?

Ok also will round scale and hatchets and whites all be counted as a white in tournaments this year ?

john they will count as whites ive seen hatchets take the money

Yoy know this may be far from good news? If there really is a "roundscale spearfish" it's likely to be an endangered species, which will bring all kinds of restrictions on when and where we can fish.
