What's your most memorable trip of the year?

im gonna say the first day of the kids tournament with uncle bill (squidnation), (dove hunt) Cory, will, nico, my dad and brother. i got to catch my first white marlin as an angle, after beating my brother to the rod. a also tried free gaffing a gaffer in the water. then back at the dock my mom pushed me in the water right in front of teasers. i couldnt have wished for any better weather or fishing partners that day. i like when the whole families involved

also winning the OC tuna tournament, after catching what would have been the winning fish the day before the tournament in 07. i cant describe the felling as we were backing down to the scales at the OCFC, having my family and friends there to see it was more then i could have dreamed. and the look on Paul our owners face was priceless, it was a long time coming for the crew of the marlin magic. he had never won a tournament in over ten years owning a boat and fishing tournaments. and i dont think captain marty had a negative thing to say for a few hours, the guys that know him know what i mean. just kidding

i feel very fortunate to be the mate for capt moran and the crampton family. its a pretty sweet ride too

I have to say the first day of the Challenge Cup out of OC. We were 5 for 8 on whites. Saw 8 to 10 more around the bait balls.
JM your sept. catch is definitly a keeper. Good luck next week in the Buc.

Winning the Beach Haven White Marlin Invitational with the only qualifying White at 82 Lbs. Just as the squall was coming on my son says, " Dad that storm does not look good. We need to catch a winner and get out of here." I turn to Kurt Jr.and say, " Wouldn't it be cool to have the winning White come into the spread just as the storm approaches. I can see him now jumping against the backdrop of lightning and ominous clouds." Not 2 minutes later and right on cue .THERE HE IS! Now that's some fun stuff.
