Talking What's your favorite line and or backing combo??

I'm currently in the process of getting the bigger reels spooled up for GBT fishing with a Jerry Brown spectra/Momoi Mono topshot combo. Seems to make sense with the spectra backing and only having to replace the topshots when needed. Considering replacing the whole arsenal with this setup.

So what's everyone's favorite line? Let's say from 30-130lb. class...

Jerry Brown is all I use both hollow and solid. On the pricey side but money well spent IMO. Tight lines

Never been Giant fishing, but hope to next year. But all we use is ANDE and lots of heat. Our motto is stoppem or poppem. One year I tried the Diamond line it kept breaking , threw it all away. I think its great line as long if you keep it out of the sunshine and do not get it wet.

We used Berkley spectra this summer and loved it. We packed all our Penn International 30TWs with it and used Top-Shots by Basil Pappas at BHP Tackle.

I believe of the 14 Big-eyes Capt. Mark DeBlasio caught this summer the majority of them were on the 30TWs with the Berkley spectra. I know Mark can add a ton more to this discussion but I can tell you that we are packing all our Penn 130VXs with Berkley Spectra for the Giants down in Morehead.
