My thoughts:

If it has a bow rail, I don't want it...

If it was built outside on NC, I don't want it...

If you want a boat that will get you through any slop, fishes like a dream, is absolutely gorgeous, and doesn't burn a whole lot of fuel (most of his boats are single screws) then you're nuts to look at anything other than a Buddy Canaday. I had the priviledge of riding on Dan Rook's "Tuna Duck" and Walt Spruill's old "Hunter" and you would be hard pressed to find a more functional make of boat anywhere in the world. Then again, the NOBX have the best fishermen in the world, so it would make sense that they would have the best rides as well...

Of course, on my means, I'll ride on anything I can..
