Boat: what boat/yours
Home Port: Morehead
Best Catch: 7lb3oz blue eye little girl.
We are 60ft and we call it at 25 kts now we can go but it's not worth beating the party or the boat up.I know i would not want to ride 60mile knowing we had to come back in.......Not much fun.

There are many factors to consider. If I were running a 60+' boat, I would at least stick my nose out and run 5 miles or so to see how things really are. The wind and wave directions compared to your course heading can make things bearable but you have to check it out.

Boat: 65' Paul Mann Sportfish
Home Port: Manteo, NC
Best Catch: 92 # white marlin
Occupation: Custom Home Builder
Cool Listen to your Captain

Let your Capt make the call. Those OC forcasts seem to be very sketchy. Wind direction bucking current makes things even worse and the direction relative to your destination as well. If you live close and wanna fish and/or drink; have that orange crush, till 3 and make your call
