Ballyhoo: self-caught and salted preferably, if not I use baitmaster mediums. sometimes I use smalls, but I prefer a bigger bodied bait (easier to rig)

Rig: I like suffix hi-vis mainline, but jinkai or momoi clear or smoke blue 60-80# depending on what else is around. X-on-the-head rig with 30 lb floss, 1/8 or 1/4 oz weight depending on wind. Sometimes with a baithead, but thats a secret rig. I like a standard wire 8/0 eagle claw tournament. I use these rigs whether fun fishing or tournament.

Leader: I just use straight mono, I'm not sold on flouro. I just cant justify the cost of flouro given I've had no problems using normal mono.

I generally go through 10-20 hoos per day, sometimes more depending on the bite. I'll generally rig a dozen or so baits, then have a handful more on standby. I always keep a backup bag in the freezer
