WHAT IS REQUIRED TO SELL FISH

What permit/license is required to sell BFT in NC. DOes anybody have the cost associated with it too.

P number sticker $1.50 per foot of the boat
NMFS Permit $22.00

Safety gear will vary depending on how much you want to spend.

You can buy license for $2800, raft and light for $400 and Epirb for $450.

Then you will need all flares, life jackets, fire ext's, warning placards, right buoy and all that kind of stuff.

I have new flares and 4 immersion suits for anyone interested. My license has sold.

I have a used but in good shape EPirb and if you need a N. C. commercial land and sell license I think I know where one is one for $3500.

just have a couple buddies with big boats that have thought about it for next winter. could be fun for a month of two to get out of the monontonous striper fishing up here in va.
