    what kind of shark?

    does anyone know what type of shark this is? it was caught in florida. thanks!!

    Not really sure,but if I had to guess I would say a Sandbar Shark by looking at the long dorsal fin.

    Good one !!!!! I don't think it is a sand bar but very good guess, The dorsal and Peck fins don't look right. The Dorsal on sand bars is not rounded it come to a very defined point. Plus there arms / Pecs are big but not that big. I just looked it up and there is a lot of similar features with your Picture and a Gray Reef Shark.

    I maybe wrong but thats what it looks like.

    it was in blue water (280 ft) bottom fishing.
