    Tarpon, sword, flounder...

in that order. With proper boat handling any amberjack can be caught pretty easily. Tarpon are the best by far in my opinion of avoiding a picture and a release. Swords have to take second and you ever notice how many flounder you lose at the boat?

Depend on what you mean by "bring in". If you're talking bringing onboard the boat, then no question it's a mako. If you're talking bringing to gaff, I'd say swordfish and threshers. Tuna are pretty tame boat side and easy to gaff. While tuna have probably the greatest energy/power, they don't have a body they can use against you in the water column. At least not like a swordfish.

Those reef donkeys can realy put up a battle but Capt Michael may have something with the Tarpon.

Capt Mike- ever notice certain Tarpon to have a real mean streak regarless of size? I have caught lots of Islamorada tarpon on fly and bait and a "mean streak tarpon" is a bear to whip
