I don't know if I should be happy or pissed!!?? We left IRI at 0300 heading to the Baltimore we dropped baits at0530 @ the 40 fath just outside the Tae cup and had little dolphin crash my flat he didn't stick and that set the tune for the day!! We worked east to the tip with little bait but high hopes! We hit the tip and no luck so we hear on the radio a little going on to the south so start working that way. I get up on the helm and my cousin say's take us to the promised land, so I did. 5 min later BILL, BILL right teaser so they get right flat and try to get right short (won't come unclipped) so you know he grabs the right short and starts taking drag SNAP!!!! broke mainline and he goes grayhounding all across the ocean. What a beautiful sight, unfortunatly he/we had broke the line. 10 min later another comes up on left side hits all 3 lines on that side and no love for us again!! 1 hour later all in the same 1 square mile 2 more come up and I think they are still laughing at us!!! and start heading in pass by a pot and finally something stuck!! a wahoo!! So at least we had a wahooinourbox!!
I am certianlly not a marlin fisherman by any stretch (as u can see with our results 0-4) but I will tell you it was awesome to see!! what is even cooler was what they all bit on was stuff tht I had rigged!
