    Those are some huge croakers. Never seen any that big around here.

    looks a little over kill for that area, hope they used them all? Been down that way in brasil smallish community's, to move excess fish up to Rio or Sao Paulo, or even to the closet boarder Paraguay or Uruguay would be a feat to say the least, I know Glut or Famine Same in Africa.

    MY wife is from Argentina and we went there for 1 month back in 2000 and we caught them up to 7lbs and they were calling them corvina . We kept saying that they were the biggest croakers we had ever seen !!!!My father in law said they are not but they sure looked like them and sounded like them to us .

    "corvina" is also the name for croakers here in Brazil

    I think in California and Mexico "corbina" are the "whiting"
