Mike, I'm trying to work the science of this out in the brain, this must be pretty close to or around spring tides Sun and Moon Pulling Together, so a good local tide tables should help allot for a novice instead of looking at moon phase charts. just a thought.

i guess you guys up there have such tables, get them even online.
for my own area i never found such somewhere provided, so we have "to make the own ones".

thanks for all the links Flatdog,
i use since years the moon calendar Quick Phase Pro.
it's accurate for the phases on any location on the planet including our dominican east coast, so i just look on it for the specific days and count the sun in it to get the imaginary best hours. running with the moon/tides is very accurate and goes for any location.
