Why? Too nice a guy. Too much talent for this to happen. Can not believe this. Prayers to your friends and family Jimmy. You will be sorely missed.

Jimmy brother you will be missed, can not beliave your last job before you left was on my grandfathers boat. Buddie hope they got a mixed drink for ready for you up there we will have one for you down here big guy salute. We always picked on each other none stop when ever we seen each other. This summer will not be the same with out you.
best memorie of him was at jasons wedding last summer. we were haveing drinking in the back of the crowd during the cerimoney. i ask him if he wanted to get on my shoulders so he could see an his reply was how about i hit you in your nuts then i will stand on your back. well that was said a little louder then what we thought an everyone looked at us. i will miss you buddie. Justin
the day I met Jimmy he was just starting his job on the Muff Diver- I was 17 or 18 I think- THey were at the fuel dock at Bahia.
I said to Joe, "Who is this little guy you have working for ya?" Before Joe could answer, Jimmy picked me up in a fireman carry and said "little guy! I got your little guy!" ANd he tossed me in the bay!!
Another time we were all at a restaurant to celebrate Blaine Champlin's Birthday- I want to say he was turning 16 or 17. THe whole table with the exception of Jimmy, and maybe 1 other person were underage. SO we all order drinks and the waitress cards us- I had a fake ID, Blaine talked his way into getting a drink and what not, anyhow I passed my fake ID down the table along with a couple other of the fake ID's and as Jimmy goes to hand my ID to the waitress he looked at it and said "Who the hell is this? Franky is this supposed to be you?"And yet I still somehow got served.
Jimmy was an incredibly talented man- an artist, hard worker, craftsmen. He could paint, carve waterfowl, work on boats, fish, you name it. He was my friend. I spoke to his dad last night and can't begin to comprehend his loss. Terrible absolutley terrible.

I was just getting to know him from him hanging around our Prop shop. Ever since Branch died Jimmy was doing all of our dive work . Mark Fisher from our propeller shop told me this morning .He was starting to get pretty tight with him and he was pretty bummed out this AM .He sure seemed to be a great guy and will be missed for sure . If any one is looking for there props we most likely have them here at North Bay Marina . The prop shop # is 302-436-8667 .
Sad News.. RIP Jimmy-
