How big do you think this Blue is. It was a conservitive 130 inches. I couldnt get a girth measurement. How many pounds would you guess?

With that head in the shot it distorts things I've never been able to really get a good guess from a photo... Even on the water its tough. The one we got the other day I thought was 250-300 when it bit then when we got close I could see it was closer to four. Other times I have seen a fish at a distance that I thought was a monster that turned out to be just ordinary... The quick formula only works with a girth estimate along with getting a pretty close fork length estimate...
That fish in the pick appears to be a healthy she fish... If it has a second hump on the fore head thats where they usually go over 500, a third hump would bring it to grander status...
In that wash I cant see the humps but with a length like that and her husky ness I have to guess 600- 800 also... Pretty work...

I'd say from the pic 500-560 but not a good pic to size it by. If your short measure of 130 fork to tip is correct then with a modest girth and not looking at a chart close to 800-850 but the pic does not have a good angle to tell any way nice fish there capt.
