waypoints for offshore gulf stream off beaufort

we went out today on the boat...we just stayed a bit offshore, went fishing around the USS indra...only caught 2 (sheepshead..i think..we threw em back)... and 5 black sea bass keepers,,,,haha it was all funn though because we had a frriend who caught his first fish ever..wish it couldve been bigger, but it was a good 4 lb sea bass....so anyways we want some help on where to go fishing...we want to go offshore tolling/ deep drop digging...all we have been told is to go about 40 miles out, and go to big rock...we have no clue where that is so anybody have GPS waypoints just to get us out to the gulf stream, and likke about where do we need to stay in and around the gulf stream?

I'd suggest picking up a copy of the Maps Unique Chart - I believe it is the Ocracoke to Wrightsville one - Mine's on the boat, so I can't check...

That said, Here are some numbers that will get you started.

35 - 40 miles will put you on the edge of the stream... A lot of folks start out at the 14 Bouy or the 90 Ft Drop.
