Washington canyon 7-11

Got to the Washington 745am nice ride out.. water was 70 ish started at 50FA, trolled to the 100 tip on the way a dolphin wrapped a line around Lob Gear and after a few minutes jumped and came back out,, lost the fish got the rig back,,(Nakid hoo).

Tolled a bit more around 9am found weed,on the west side of the break and scatered on the east,, went around and through,, got water at 72 across the break,, now im over 200FA and a White Marlin comes in the spread,,, pulled a flatline out the clip and fed the fish,, he spits it out,, then hes back on it again,, freespooled till he ran with it and bang hes on!! just as the line is building pressure,, he spit the hook, or it was never hooked good,, now the crew is ready


trolled inshore, got a skippy, but no tuna bites all day.

Back in about 120 FA got a double on a ball,, bull and cow,,
The bull was chewing on a pink squid shell daisey chain teaser,, all lit up.
Cory pulls the teaser away andI get the Bull on a shortrigger I pulled in front of him,, nice show and after 10 minutes we get him on the boat.

The weeds were certainly a pain out there on Saturday. Very scattered, and with a virgin crew on board it was all kinds of fun.

Next time you are out, give me a shout. Im on Ch. 1 as well.

Nice work. By looking at your pics I think I live one street over from you. My place is on the corner of snug Harbour road. I saw Gene Prestons Boat in the back of the pic. My Name is Jim, and I run a 27 WC, and we fish with gene on his seavee quite a bit. Nice rig btw. Jim
