The owner told me that it was time for me to go get some meat for the freezer and was gracious enough to fund the trip. I made the calls and only got one answer so we put to sea @ 0500 and pointed east talked to fish dad and pushed to the warm water break by the cigar and found an awsome weedline 4-5 miles long with lots of debries. we saw one boat there so we moved off until we bothat had a good amount of space to not interfere with one another. The first bite came on the left rigger a slob of a wahoo( 60-80 lbs) rolled across tnd neatly cut the ballyhoo in half No worries so we carried on after boxing that area and a few marks the plainer trips and SCREAMS!!!! the fish then runs at the boat and couldn't get the coals put on in time to keep the line tight Then a little later the WWFB goes off for a pathetic little run and straitens up .....nothing gave it a bit and decided to head back west to see how badly i'm going to get beat on the depressing ride home and started to put the coals on when about half way home i get the wonderful idea to start looking in my book of crap for ways to salvage the trip and put meat in the box so ...#1 the owner won't kill me #2 i won't be skunked and #3 i really wanted some fresh fish for dinner. We headed to a little patch of bottom and marked a few shows so we put down and started pulling up big knotheads 2 at a time until we had a limit and then headed to the house @ 28 kts the whole way back
