Now that the tournament has been moved to Sept 12-14 I am trying to decide if i want to fish my boat (24Capehorn Ocean City Fishing Center) and find some interested persons or try to link up with a boat that needs experienced crew. Any body else fishing?

I WAS ACTUALLY INTERSTED IN THIS ONE LAST YEAR.....IT IS A DANG LONG EXPENSIVE DRIVE FROM MHC TO OC TO FIND OUT THAT IT WAS CANCELLED AT THE LAST MINUTE....WHY, I HAVEN'T A CLUE.... BECAUSE WE FUN-FISHED THE VERY NEXT DAY ANYWAY SO IT SURE WASN'T THE WEATHER.

BOX, it was cancelled last year because there were only 2 boats signed up/waiting to sign up (I know, I was one of them). They had/have a 10 boat minimum.

I hope this thing comes off, but I have my doubts. My tourney guy is lined up and ready to go. I am in a bit of a pickle because it now coincides with the OCMC CMMTC challenge cup. My tourney guy really wants to fish the Hoo tourney, but he was also supposed to do the cup. I guess I will be fishing one way or the other- just a matter if its dinks on circles or flash on steel.

Kind of looks like there wont be many boats and they cant guarantee my boat is finished..looks like i will have to wait to the tuna tournament next year

You are correct Franky but I believe it was actually postponed due to weather the week before (which turned out to be another weatherman false alarm ).

Like you and the others I hope it takes place. Seems like a fun time and a nice little tourney.
