Wachapreague flounder report 4-8

inshore fishing here at wachapreague va is starting to pickup . water temps in the low to mid 50's has gotten the flounder to bite on the flats and channel edges at green & drawing channels .

fished with a group on friday during windy and wet conditions we managed to scrapp out a catch of 20 fish with the big fish for the day taping out @ 23 in . best fishing was on the ebb tide with pink feather and minnow combo being the most productive bait . working the channel edges from 6 to 15 ft in moving water worked well for us .

hope to fish again this week on tues & weds . goodluck if you can get out here to fish .

Good job on the keepers, we only fished 2 hrs in the afternoon Fri and had 0 keepers with just A few shorts. Got caught in the heavy rain on the run in. We had too much work to do on my cabin to fish the whole day. It should be red hot reel soon.
