Pretty work on your day Mike. God I was kickin my self in the ass for not being there. There aint a whole lot of days like that. I saw Mary at the fishing center this morning when I went to pay my fuel tab from yesterday and she said it was it just unbelievable.

This guy is awful worried about a fish dieing. I had one that died on me yesterday. It hooked up, did three jumps, turned upside down and started sinking. Dead as a doornail. Guess it had a heart attack. J-hooks or circle hooks they are gonna die every now and again. Had smoked white marlin for lunch and it was bad ass.

Apologies. I accidentally posted under Marks name because it was saved on my computer from him logging in on it. This is my first time on the site. Anyhow, John we use circle hooks when just marlin fishing. Normal fishing we do not. Best, MIke

Thanks for the comeback Mike. I know when your charter fishing you use j hooks all I said it was just my opinion that when targeting billfish we should all use circle hooks.Now I know the real story im sure had I run out of rigs I would a put a anything over. Hell I know I could do better w j's but I convinced my boss to stay w/ circles,so what if you jump a few off for me its all in the bite anyway! Congratulations on a great day. We caught half that and that was a great day! hope they stay after this blow.
